In the Bible, we see Jesus welcoming children but teaching adults. It is to this reality that South Church provides a variety of adult educational experiences to learners of all ages. Everything that the church does teaches and so worship, mission, education and service all support faith formation. However, South Church does offer additional programming that addresses themes or particular interests as they arise. The following list of current programs is by no means complete! We welcome any and all avenues for developing one's faith and finding meaning and direction in the life God provides

Move this to fellowship ---The Artist's Way
This group started in 2009 when a church member was interested in exploring Julia Cameron's book, The Artist's Way. The group continues to meet at 4PM on Sunday afternoons exploring readings that stimulate the creative spirit and encouraging various creative endeavors. New members are always welcome. Come and ignite the creative muse inside of you!
The Power of Personal Storytelling Everyone has a story!
This ongoing workshop asks participants to explore the stories of their lives and use them as a vehicle to better understand themselves as well as interact with others. Storytelling can bear much fruit in our spiritual lives, enhance communication and give added depth to leadership capacities. Conjuring up a good story brings with it some wonderful surprises. This group meets the first Tuesday of the month at 7PM.
ADVENT BIBLE STUDY This will be a small group study of Advent texts for this year. It will be an interactive, relational study that will work toward an application of the text to our own lives, and offer time for prayer and support. We will be following the Serendipity process for each of the texts: Luke 21:25-36; Luke 3:1-6; Luke 3:7-18; and Luke 2:41-52. Dates: November 11th, 18th; and December 2nd & 9th at 7:00 PM.
